Physical Profile | Dark brown hair all over that picks up the occasional lighter blond streak through it. Warm amber eyes and a cold wet nose. Tawshii is too tall and furry to really be an easy fit as a fighter pilot, but no one has ever been brave enough to tell him. Well, no one who survived to tell the tale at least. When flying he wears the comms gear from a stripped down helmet about his ears and neck and what remains of his bright orange X-wing flight suit. On receipt, this was immediately ripped in half, with the top section looking like a kinda surfer cut-off, t-shirt, jagged edges and very short sleeves to accommodate his broad arms. |

Personality & Traits
Personality Profile | Tawshii is a relatively young Wookiee and is usually an enthusiastic, hopeful soul. He’s lived through some really dark times but being able to realise his true dream of piloting and fighting for the right causes generally squashes these shadowy moods. He’s a hugger and likes to pick people up to show them they have support. If drunk, or sober and in the presence of a really good song, he dances. If he has the space, he’ll cartwheel and back-flip. His darker side generally shows itself if he’s injured or trapped, and when he’s tired. In these times he becomes sullen, sits with his head in his hands and finds a quiet, preferably arboreal place to recharge. Or he breaks something. Or someone. Depends... He loves trees, climbing trees, sitting under trees and drawing trees, enjoys full-body painting and showing off his piloting skills. Generally, he lives in the moment and optimistically hopes to find his brother one day. |

Strengths & Weaknesses | - Does not trust easily - Sometimes forgets his own strength (and manners) - Communication can be tricky - he understands Basic and a few other languages but few understand Shyriiwook, Thykarann and Xaczik in return. Knows Nothoiin sign language. - Extrovert - likes to showboat and not always a team player when caught up in the fight. - Always thinks he's doing the right thing in the moment. - Decent shot - Really good at drawing and painting and enjoys a good game of ‘guess the thing/idea’ when communication fails any other way. - Good reliable pilot, not excellent, but it’s hard to be the Ace of the squadron when you’re smushed up in the cockpit with your knees resting against the consoles. - Not great at hide and seek - Doesn’t understand subtlety - Isn’t great at repairing things (and breaks them often) |
Historical Data
Personal History | Born - Kachirho, Kashyyyk 93BBY Always fascinated with the skies, as a young Wookiee Tawshii learned to fly gliders on Kashyyyk, excelling very quickly in not crashing too badly. Any landing you can walk (or swim) away from is a good one, right? He and his older brother, Haastun (who is a member of the Claatuvac Guild), flew together as a two-pilot team and became utterly inseparable. They graduated from gliders to freighters and left home together to hit the trade routes, off for weeks and then months at a time, returning with gifts for the family until they both began to explore further afield and map out new routes. Making both legitimate and nefarious contacts in their travels, smuggling and transporting passengers, whatever paid for them to explore further and further afield. They worked with many other races, using droids and translators as necessary while learning to understand other languages and ways. During these years Tawshii in particular developed a love for smaller craft and especially the challenges of flying fighters. He took part in any minor conflicts he could find and picked up skills from anyone who would teach him. This was curtailed somewhat by the fact that fitting himself into any fighter craft generally involved removing the seat to allow him to fit in, but he achieved pretty decent results by trading credits and favours. Both brothers returned to Kashyyyk when their mother became ill and were subsequently caught up in the events leading up to the invasion by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and drawn inevitably into the Battle of Kashyyyk. Enslaved by the New Order - taken to work on construction of the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station, also designated as the DS-1 Orbital Battle Station and referred to as the Ultimate Weapon or Death Star. (19 BBY) The two brothers played the long game, working together for years as slaves until an accident badly wounded Tawshii. His brother traded cartographical information with an Imperial officer for Tawshii’s life. This officer ensured Tawshii was evacuated on a medical frigate, aided and healed by a surgeon Merrsil Jarotay. When the frigate is attacked for its supplies and Merrsil is killed, Tawshii is freed and joins his rescuers. He takes with him the surgeon’s teenage son - Haro - keeping the boy safe in payment of his debt to Haro’s father. Having the CIS as a common enemy from his past, Tawshii becomes embroiled with Saw Gerrara’s Partisans for a year until he’s contacted by his brother and leaves to be reunited. The two brothers, with Haro, return to their old ways of aiding the rebels, smuggling and making supply runs, until a deal goes horribly wrong. Haastun is mortally wounded, and Tawshii and Haro are traded as payment to the Pyke Syndicate. Sent to the spice mines on Kessel as slaves, luck finds them a few months later when they’re freed by a Crimson Dawn sponsored raid on the mines. Freed 10BBY (Tawshii - 83 Haro - 15). Tawshii, seeking safety in numbers, heads to the Outer Rim to ensure Haro’s safety and over the next few years falls back in with the emerging rebel cells. Present day 1BBY (Tawshii - 92 Haro - 24) Pronounciation - Tore-shee/Tore-shee-key-keek-errrrrr |
