The Empire has never been more powerful. The Starfleet of Star Destroyers has spread throughout the Galaxy carrying out the will of the Emperor. A single Destroyer was adequate to subjugate a world. Fear of the Empire and its might brought more and more systems under it's control. Still rumors circulated of

Senator Mon Mothma of Chandrilla was seen as a founder of the loosely affiliated Rebel Alliance. While she and other powerful worlds sought a diplomatic solution to the Empire's aggression, less influential systems fell into virtual enslavement. Other elements within the Alliance preferred a stronger approach and began to stockpile arms, starships and supplies.

The Imperial Senate condemns this action and disavows any affiliation with what is effectively a rogue criminal organization. Rebel cells do what it they need to do to fight tyranny. Their tactics are hard hitting, messy and often questionable by members of polite society. Members of the Rebel Alliance and their spy network are hunted relentlessly by Lord Darth Vader of the Sith and his sinister agents. Great sacrifices are made to keep Galactic citizens safe.

One of the most notable of the Rebels' weapons is the Rogue Squadron. They are a hardened group of freedom fighters with an outstanding success record, but also alarmingly high casualty counts.

Rouge Wings is a fighter pilot sim based in the Star Wars universe. Pilots are able to choose a ship of their liking, although as the game progresses more capable and efficient fighters will become available, and highly encouraged to bring their own Astromech droids. Operating from planetary bases as well as carrier capital ships, players participate in missions to aid the Rebel Allinace in hit and run raids on the Empire. Events in this sim take place a year before the happenings in Rogue One and A New Hope.

Each player character will be a flight leader, with three NPC wingmen that they control. These will also be canon fodder as combat ensues.

Combat is decided with simple dice rolls based on the advantages and disadvantages written in dialogue. Example: If an X-Wing fighter and its wingmen engage a target they will receive advantages toward hitting the target. If a lone y-wing faces down a flight of incoming Tie Advenced fighters firing blindly in their general direction they will be at a disadvantage to hit.

So that no one gets left behind in combat, only one attack action is allowed per post. The GM will resolve each attack action. A counter attack likewise will be announced and resolved by the GM. Hits by enemy craft may destroy wingmen or cause damage to a player's fighter and or droid. No one will be eliminated without their permission. So to an extent you are invulnerable, but it will hurt. Damaged vessels are at a heavy disadvantage in attacks.

And so you know, your GM is a notorious bad roller. Enjoy.
